Amy Robach didn’t expect it Alleged affair with TJ Holmes “To explode in scandal,” a new report claimed.
The ‘GMA3’ personality, whose romance with co-host propelled the pair into the news cycle last November, appears to be ‘collateral damage,’ a source Tell the American Sun.
“She certainly didn’t expect their relationship to cause so much upheaval — outside of her own marriage.”
Robach, 43, and Holmes, 45, were both taken off the air shortly after news of the scandal broke. that The internal investigation continues in ABC.
A US Sun source believes the investigation will “look into Amy’s past to try to find some scandal,” noting, “But luckily for her, she’s fairly well-behaved.”
However, a source tells Page Six that Robach wasn’t “surprised” as the report claims — not least because of Holmes’ relationship with producer Natasha Singh. The insider claims he was “upfront” with her regarding their past relationships.
Page Six has reached out to representatives for Robach and Holmes for comment.
The new report comes just a week after a source claimed to DailyMail.com that Holmes had a months-long affair in 2015 with 24-year-old Jasmine Pettaway – while married to his now estranged wife, Marilee Febig.
The source, who was said to have known the script coordinator well at the time, claimed, “He was a predator who took full advantage of his position, and was hotheaded.”
“It was Jasmine’s first real job in television, and it was a big deal for her. She was looking for a mentor, and she got in touch with a lot of people. TJ was someone who was responsive, but he totally abused the position of trust.”
The insider claimed the two had sex, claiming that Pitaway was “confused afterward” as to what it all meant. The source further alleged that Holmes’ behavior was part of a pattern of “incredibly reckless” behavior on his part.
Amid all the recent media attention, Holmes and Robach’s “GMA3” jobs are now believed to be on block chopping.
“It’s not terminated yet, but I don’t expect TJ to be working again,” an insider told Page Six last week, noting that both parties have reached out to an attorney amid negotiations.
“They want Amy to stay and be a part of things there, but probably not at GMA3.”
Amidst the scandal, Holmes and Robach also separated from their wives, Febig and Andrew Shaw.
